Surefire Compact Switch 9-Inch Picatinny Mount Black

The Surefire Compact Switch is a 9 inch Picatinny rail grabber mount in black matte. Model compatibility is the key selection point because the part is intended to work as one component within a larger lighting setup. This is a light-system accessory rather than a standalone flashlight, so compatibility with the intended light and mounting interface should be confirmed before ordering.

Nine inches is the long version, and switch length is chosen by where the support hand actually falls on a handguard. Too short and the pad is behind the hand; too long and it sits under the muzzle end. On a longer handguard or for a shooter with a far-forward grip, the 9 inch is the one that puts the pad under the fingers.

A rail grabber clamps directly to a Picatinny section rather than using adhesive, so it stays exactly where it was set. Compact refers to the pad profile, which sits low enough not to catch on gear or a bag when the rifle is moved. The Surefire Compact Switch 9-Inch Picatinny Mount Black is most useful when the goal is to refine an existing compatible light setup rather than add another light. Explore more weapon lights.
