Surefire Compact Switch 7-Inch Picatinny Mount Black

The Surefire Compact Switch is a 7 inch Picatinny rail grabber mount in black matte. Model compatibility is the key selection point because the part is intended to work as one component within a larger lighting setup. The accessory is designed to change how a compatible light is mounted or controlled without replacing the light itself.

Seven inches is the shorter of the two Picatinny versions, suiting a compact handguard or a grip closer to the receiver. Getting the length right matters more than it sounds, since a pad that ends up behind or beyond the support hand is a control that has to be reached for rather than one that is simply there. The accessory format lets users tailor an existing light to a particular rail, control position, or equipment layout.

A rail grabber clamps to a Picatinny section rather than using adhesive, holding position through recoil where an adhesive pad works loose over time. The compact profile sits low enough not to snag on a sling, a bag or a vehicle door. Checking the exact host light and attachment standard before purchase helps avoid mixing accessories that look similar but use different interfaces. Explore more weapon lights.
