Streamlight TLR-1 HPL 1000 Lumen Long Gun Weapon Light

The Streamlight TLR-1 HPL Long Gun Kit is a 1,000-lumen rail-mounted weapon light built around a deep-dish reflector for long-range reach. It produces 60,000 candela and a beam reaching 490 m, with a listed runtime of 1.5 hours on two CR123A lithium batteries. A weapon light in this output class is intended to combine target-area illumination with quick access to controls from the mounted position.

The long-gun kit includes the TLR-1 HPL with thumb screw, Safe Off remote door switch, remote pressure switch, mounting clips, and batteries. This setup gives the user a pressure-pad control option on the forend while retaining the light’s focused downrange beam and IPX7 waterproof construction. A sealed aluminum housing and purpose-built controls are practical features for equipment that may see regular range, field, or duty use.

Battery type and runtime are worth considering alongside maximum output because they determine how the light fits the user's maintenance routine. The finish on this version also gives buyers a way to coordinate the light with the rest of the host equipment without changing the basic operating platform. For a permanent mounted setup, keeping spare batteries and verifying mounting hardware periodically are sensible parts of routine equipment care. The TLR-1 HPL configuration is aimed at users who want the longer-reaching beam profile associated with the HPL design. Browse more weapon lights.
