The Streamlight TLR-1 HL Long Gun Kit is a black high-output weapon light that delivers 1,000 lumens, 20,000 candela, and a 283 m beam. It runs for up to 1.5 hours on two CR123A lithium batteries and uses a broad beam pattern to illuminate both the target area and nearby surroundings. This is a dedicated rail-mounted illumination system, so output, mounting interface, and switch layout should be considered together when matching it to a host platform.
The machined aluminum housing uses an IPX7 waterproof design and ambidextrous controls, with a programmable strobe available when needed. The long-gun kit adds a remote pressure switch, Safe Off door, mounting clips, and related hardware for forend control. The mounted configuration is useful when the support hand needs to remain on the equipment while the light is activated or adjusted.
Battery type and runtime are worth considering alongside maximum output because they determine how the light fits the user's maintenance routine. The Streamlight TLR-1 HL Long Gun 1000 Lumen Weapon Light should be matched to the intended rail and control preference before purchase so the complete setup works as expected. The finish on this version also gives buyers a way to coordinate the light with the rest of the host equipment without changing the basic operating platform. Browse more weapon lights.
