Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount HP-X Pro Weapon Light

The Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount HP-X Pro System is an 800-lumen long-gun light with a very high 105,000-candela beam rating. That combination points to a more concentrated beam than a wide flood-style light with a similar lumen number. The black system package includes the mounting hardware, an M-LOK mount, and a momentary switch.

Two CR123A batteries are included, keeping this version independent of a rechargeable pack or charging cable. The momentary switch is the key package difference from the simpler HP-X Pro model 89017. For a user who wants the switch and mounting pieces together, model 89015 reduces the need to add those parts separately.

This system is best for a long-gun setup that benefits from the HP-X beam profile and included remote-control hardware. The 105,000-candela specification is worth considering alongside the 800-lumen output because it describes how tightly the beam is driven.
