The Leather Sheath is brown leather with a lanyard, for fixed blades with blades up to 6 inches.
The lanyard is the detail worth noting. It ties the sheath to a belt or a pack so a knife drawn in a hurry does not leave the sheath behind, and it stops an empty sheath being lost separately. At 6 inches this covers camp knives, small bowies and the larger hunting patterns rather than everyday fixed blades.
Leather forms to the individual knife over the first few weeks and then holds it, which one molded sheath cannot do across several blade shapes.
