The Standard Horizon HX210 6W Floating Handheld VHF is a compact handheld VHF that floats face up if you drop it overboard. A large 1,850 mAh lithium-ion battery lets Standard Horizon shrink the case while keeping it light enough to float. If it lands in the water, an emergency strobe turns on automatically, even with the radio switched off.

You can set the strobe to flash, flash SOS or stay on steadily. One of the largest displays in a compact, affordable handheld uses a high-resolution dot matrix screen with a super bright backlight that is easy to read day or night. The E2O menu system makes setup simple, and programmable function keys put your most-used settings one press away.

It covers all USA, international and Canadian channels, plus NOAA weather and FM broadcast radio from 76 to 108 MHz. A speaker mic jack lets you add a remote speaker microphone.
