The Standard Horizon GX1410B Eclipse Fixed Mount VHF - White is an affordable, ultra-compact fixed mount VHF that replaces the older Eclipse+ and Eclipse DSC models. It meets the latest DSC standards, so it is ready for distress and individual calling as soon as it is connected to a GPS source. The small case fits consoles where a larger radio will not.

The GX1410 Eclipse Series is a compact 25 W fixed mount VHF with a separate Channel 70 receiver, so DSC calls come through even while you are listening to another channel. Press the DSC distress key and it sends a digital MAYDAY with your vessel identification, position and time. It also makes individual, urgency, safety, position report and position send calls, and it can automatically poll the GPS position of up to 6 ships. Position and time show on the display once a GPS is connected.

An oversized 31 x 55 mm dot matrix display with an adjustable ultra-bright backlight is easy to read day or night, and the E2O menu keeps DSC programming simple. Radio controls on the microphone, programmable soft keys and a preset key for up to 10 favorite channels speed up everyday use. It covers all USA, international and Canadian marine channels, NOAA weather with weather alert, programmable scan, priority scan and dual watch, and it is submersible to 1.5 m for 30 minutes.
