The Spyderco Para Military 2 Camo Black DLC (C81GPCMOBK2) has a 3.44-inch CPM S45VN clip point blade with a black DLC coating and a camo G-10 handle. The camo pattern is layered through the G-10, so it does not wear off with use. This camo version is produced at Spyderco's Colorado factory. It opens to about 8.3 inches.

DLC, short for diamond-like carbon, is a hard coating that adds scratch resistance and cuts glare. Under it, CPM S45VN offers better corrosion resistance than S30V and sharpens easily. Where the coating is removed at the edge during sharpening, the steel still resists rust well. The clip point brings the tip in line with the handle for precise piercing.

The Compression Lock releases from the spine for safe one-hand closing. A finger choil and jimping give you control for fine cuts. Its clip can be swapped for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side, and the Round Hole opens it with a thumb. It is a good choice for hunters and outdoor users who want a low-visibility knife.
