The Spyderco ARK, short for Always Ready Knife, is a compact fixed blade model with a 2.56 in H-2 steel blade, plain edge, full tang construction, and a black glass-reinforced nylon handle. The ARK is a lightweight fixed blade with a 5 in overall length. Its small fixed blade format keeps the blade, tang, and handle in a simple one-piece working configuration rather than adding a folding mechanism.

A thumb pull and lanyard hole are built into the knife, and a black polymer neck sheath is included for carry and storage. Those details give the ARK a dedicated sheath and two additional handling or attachment points beyond the blade and handle themselves.
