Springfield KingPin Threaded Power-Rise Seat Post

The Springfield KingPin Threaded Power-Rise Seat Post is a gas-assisted stand-up seat post that adjusts from 22-1/2 to 29-1/2 inches. It fits a threaded KingPin base, screwing in for a secure fit that can still be removed. Springfield rates it ABYC Class H-31 B for fishing use only.

Power-Rise lifts the seat when you release it, so you can switch between sitting and leaning against the seat at a casting deck. Many owners prefer a threaded base on boats that see rough water or heavy use. Seven inches of travel covers both a seated fishing position and a leaning stance. Because the post threads into the base, it does not rattle or lift out when the boat crosses wakes on the way to the next spot.

Make sure your base is the threaded KingPin type before ordering, since the standard KingPin post is a different part. Rinse the threads with fresh water and add a light coat of marine grease so the post stays easy to remove and install. The standard KingPin post is also in our seats, pedestals & slides.
