Springfield KingPin Standard Power-Rise Seat Post

The Springfield KingPin Standard Power-Rise Seat Post adjusts from 23-1/2 to 30-1/2 inches and fits a standard KingPin base. The gas cylinder lifts the seat when you release the lock. Springfield rates it ABYC Class H-31 B, which limits it to fishing use rather than as a helm seat while the boat is running.

KingPin is one of the most common pedestal systems on bass boats, so this post is often a direct replacement when an old post loses its gas charge or the finish wears out. Seven inches of travel covers a comfortable seated position and a leaning stance while casting. You can go from sitting to leaning height without getting out of the seat. A fresh gas cylinder restores the smooth lift that an older post loses over time, making the seat easier to use all day.

Confirm you have a standard KingPin base rather than the threaded type before ordering. Remove the post when trailering long distances if you can, and check the base bolts from time to time.
