Description

The SOG Terminus XR has a 2.95-inch stonewashed D2 straight clip point blade in an olive drab G10 handle with SOG's XR lock.

The XR lock is a spring-loaded crossbar released from either side, so the knife suits either hand and closes without fingers crossing the blade path, which a liner lock cannot manage. A straight clip point keeps the spine flat to the tip rather than curving, which leaves somewhere to place a thumb for pressure during controlled cuts.

D2 holds a working edge considerably longer than budget stainless, though being semi-stainless it needs to be dried after it gets wet. At 2.95 inches the blade sits just under the length limit that many places set for everyday carry.
