The SOG Tellus has a 3.5-inch stonewashed 440 stainless blade, a green GRN handle, an extended tang, a thumb stud, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 4.75 inches on a frame lock.

A frame lock built into a GRN handle is unusual, since the mechanism normally needs a metal slab to flex and hold. Here a steel liner does that work inside the polymer, which keeps the weight down without giving up the lock type. 440 stainless resists corrosion well and comes back to sharp without special abrasives.
