Description

The SOG Fling is a set of three throwing knives, 4.4-inch satin 3Cr13 spear point blades with full tangs and paracord-wrapped handles, in a nylon sheath that holds all three.

Throwing knives are built to different rules than cutting knives. Balance matters more than edge, so these are made as one piece of steel with weight distributed to rotate predictably, and the spear point is symmetrical so the knife flies the same regardless of which face is up. 3Cr13 is chosen for toughness rather than edge holding, because a thrown knife that misses hits stone, and a harder steel would chip where this one deforms.
