The SOG Fasthawk is a compact axe with a 2 inch straight edge in 420 stainless with a black glass reinforced nylon handle and a nylon sheath.

The Fasthawk is the light hawk in the SOG range, built for speed of handling rather than chopping power. It weighs considerably less than a full tomahawk and is worked from the wrist rather than the shoulder. That suits clearing brush, driving stakes and light camp work rather than processing firewood.

Four hundred and twenty stainless resists rust in a wet pack or a boat, where a carbon steel head would spot within a season.
