Buying three finishes of the same knife is unusual, and the practical case is that each behaves differently. Titanium coating adds surface hardness, bead blast kills glare but shows fingerprints, and black oxide grows out of the steel so it cannot flake. It also means three knives to leave in three places, which is how most people actually use a pack like this.
