Description

Sika® Primer-207 is a pigmented, solvent-based black primer that reacts with moisture to form a thin layer linking substrates and adhesives. It is designed for experienced professionals treating bond faces on a very broad range of substrates before applying Sika's 1-component polyurethanes.

A unique feature of Primer-207 is that it fluoresces under long-wave UV light for a limited period after application, useful for in-process quality control. It improves adhesion on float glass, ceramic-coated glass, plastics, pre-coatings, painted surfaces, E-coats, and metals, and only needs a single properly covering application, applied with a brush, felt, or foam applicator between 15°C and 25°C. Browse more options in our cleaning, detailing, and protection category.

Key Features

  • Improves adhesion on glass, plastics, and metals that adhesives struggle to bond to directly.
  • Single-application formula skips a separate second coat.
