SI-TEX MDA-2 Dual Channel Parallel AIS Receiver

The SI-TEX MDA-2 is a dual-channel parallel AIS receiver in a compact 5.5 x 3.9 x 1.9 inch IPx7 waterproof module. It uses next-generation Rmax technology for fast processing. Every incoming AIS message is received and fully decoded in real time, even as AIS traffic grows.

Built-in NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and USB interfaces connect it to chart plotters, radars and onboard PCs. The USB connection can also power the receiver. It runs on 12 to 24 volts at 150 mA.

As a receiver, it shows other vessels but does not transmit your position, so no MMSI programming is required. It comes with power and data cables and mounting screws.
