SI-TEX MDA-6 5W Class B AIS Transceiver, Bluetooth

The SI-TEX MDA-6 is a high-power 5 watt SOTDMA Class B/SO AIS transceiver with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and isolated USB. It delivers Class A-level transmit priority and rapid update rates. Your vessel stays visible in busy waterways and at longer range.

It broadcasts SOG, COG, heading and hazard reports to give nearby vessels a clear picture of your movements. Integrated Wi-Fi feeds tablets and laptops, and a Bluetooth app handles setup and troubleshooting. An AIS control app adds Waze-style hazard reporting and built-in VDR capability.

It's IP67 waterproof, dustproof and vibration-proof with low power draw, and an external GPS antenna is included. In the US, a Class B transceiver must be programmed with your MMSI number by a qualified technician before use.
