The Shadow-Caster Zone Controller Kit handles up to four lighting zones at 500W, rated IP65, with a push-button remote and a 3.5mm audio input.

Four zones controlled independently or synced together is the point. Underwater lights, courtesy lighting, a hardtop and cockpit strips can each hold their own color and brightness, or all match. Without zoning every fixture changes together, which is fine until the cockpit needs to stay dim while the underwater lights run bright.

The 3.5mm audio input drives music sync directly from a cable rather than needing an app or a Bluetooth pairing, which means it works with any source that has a headphone output. That is more reliable than a wireless link on a boat, and it does not tie the lighting to one phone.
