Sea-Dog T-Handle Locking Compression Latch

The Sea-Dog T-handle locking compression latch secures compatible hatches and access panels while keeping the handle recessed for a clean, flush installation. Turning the T-handle engages the offset locking arm, allowing the latch to draw the panel closed and then lock it against unauthorized opening.

Investment-cast 316 stainless-steel construction gives corrosion resistance and durability for exposed marine use. The latch includes a heavy-duty stainless key and installs through a 2-inch cutout using a back-mounted stainless cup, creating a finished appearance on the visible side of the hatch.

Confirm panel thickness, 2-inch cutout clearance, locking-arm reach, back-cup clearance, and the required compression before installation. Position the latch so the arm fully engages the strike without excessive force. Test locking and unlocking several times and verify the hatch remains secure without distorting the panel or seal.
