Scotty 1.5 lb Folding Still Water Boat Anchor

The Scotty 797 Anchor Kit pairs a 1.5 lb folding anchor with 50 feet of premium nylon line. It is made for still water, such as lakes, ponds and calm backwaters. The light anchor suits kayaks, canoes and other small craft. At 1.5 lb, it's light enough that it won't add noticeable weight to a kayak.

Everything packs into a watertight, buoyant container. Because it floats, the kit won't sink if it goes over the side. The container also doubles as a bailer for scooping water out of the boat. The 50 feet of nylon line has some stretch, which absorbs wave shock.

A nylon snap hook clips the line to your boat for quick attachment and release. The folding anchor's flukes close up for storage and open to grab the bottom when deployed. Keep the line coiled in the container so it doesn't tangle around your feet. Browse more boat anchors.
