A line release is the critical link between the downrigger and the fishing rod. If it doesn't perform properly, real fishing time and fish get lost to a release that fires too early or holds on too long.
The {BRAND} Mini PowerGrip Planer Board Release grips the fishing line between soft pads, with variable release tension set by moving the line further in or out of the jaws. That lets the tension be dialed in for whatever bait or trolling speed is being run.
It attaches to either the weight or the cable. This 100-piece bucket is sized for a charter operation, tackle shop, or serious angler who goes through releases fast enough that buying individually stops making sense. Browse more downriggers.
