Scotty 1085 Strongarm 30-Inch Manual Downrigger

The Scotty 1085 Strongarm is the heavy-duty workhorse of Scotty's manual lineup, built for the intermediate-size boat that needs more capacity than a compact downrigger offers.

A high-speed, two-foot-per-turn spool paired with an extended handle gives extra leverage under load, feeding out 200 feet of 150-lb test stainless steel downrigger cable through a spray-protected, positive-drive depth counter.

A marine-grade stainless steel 30-inch boom mounts with the included 1023 Tilt-up bracket, which lets the whole unit tilt and lock upright for storage or towing, and the 358 Rodmaster II rod holder adjusts along the boom. The same industry-leading clutch brake and Power Grip Plus line release from Scotty's other downriggers carry over, fully assembled and factory tested with complete saltwater protection.
