Schaefer's Cat Hawk Wind Indicator is designed for non-spinnaker catamarans up to 8 meters, developed to mount onto the front of the forestay bridle for maximum visibility both upwind and downwind.
The Cat Hawk uses the same vane arm as the standard Hawk, carrying over all the benefits of balance, V jewel bearing, weight, and UV protection that come with it. Reference arms can be set for either upwind or downwind angles, and the aluminum support rod includes the Hawk's quick mount clip for fast rigging and de-rigging.
