The Scanstrut ROKK Sub 10W Integrated Charging Pad bonds beneath GRP, fabric, leather, wood, carbon fiber and marine traction products.

Bonding beneath the material rather than mounting into it is what makes this a builder's part as much as an owner's. A charging area can be designed into custom upholstery, decking or a branded surface with nothing interrupting the finish, which no surface-mounted charger allows.

The listed materials cover most of what a boat interior is made from, and all of them pass the charging field. Carbon fiber is the one to watch, since it is conductive and can interfere depending on layup, so a test before bonding is worth the time.
