Scanstrut Black 6-10mm Horizontal Cable Seal, 5-Pack

The Scanstrut DS-H10-BLK Horizontal Cable Seal is a five-pack of low-profile seals for cables from 6 to 10mm, with a tapered gland.

Horizontal rather than vertical is the orientation, and it decides which surface the seal is designed for. A horizontal seal routes the cable out sideways along the surface, which suits a vertical face such as a radar arch leg or a bulkhead where a vertical seal would point the cable into thin air.

The tapered gland forms a watertight seal around the cable while a closed-cell foam gasket seals the housing to the mounting surface. Both seals matter: one keeps water out of the cable entry, the other keeps it from getting under the fitting and into the deck core.
