The Scandvik Chrome Cold Water Tap with Swivel Spout is a single-supply tap for cold water only. The spout swivels, so it can reach across a sink or swing out of the way. It is built from chrome-plated brass, which holds up better than plastic taps that crack with age.

Cold-only taps are common on boats without a water heater. They also work well as a second tap for drinking water beside the main galley faucet, or on a bar sink or head basin. A single supply line keeps the plumbing simple, and the swivel spout makes it easy to fill a kettle or rinse a pot. On a boat without hot water, a cold-only tap saves the cost and complexity of a mixer, and the brass body gives a sturdy feel that plastic taps lack.

It mounts through a 7/8-inch hole and connects with a 1/2-inch NPS male thread, so confirm the counter thickness and space below.
