Rupp Large SS Bolt-less Rod Holder, 30-Degree

The Rupp Large Stainless Steel Bolt-less Rod Holder at 30 degrees won the 2020 IBEX Innovation Award. It combines the easy installation of a standard rod holder with the clean look of a bolt-less one. No special tools or fasteners are required. Rupp has a long history building outriggers and rod holders for sportfishing boats.

It's investment cast stainless steel with a removable, replaceable top flange, so a scratched or damaged flange can be swapped without replacing the whole holder. The closed end has a threaded drain hole. A 30 degree angle is the most common gunwale setting, spreading trolling lines away from the boat and from each other. The polished finish holds up to salt spray and matches other high-end deck hardware. The 30 Degree angle determines how the rod sits once installed, so choose it with the gunwale location and intended fishing setup in mind.
