Description
The Rupp Halyard Line Tensioner is a stainless steel fairlead tube that passes the outrigger halyard through the gunwale. It attaches to a stainless mounting bracket with a jam cleat. That makes installation in the gunwale easy.
This one has a 2.875 inch tube. A 3.875 inch length is also available for thicker gunwales. Routing the halyard through the gunwale keeps lines neat and out of the cockpit.
The jam cleat holds halyard tension so the outrigger lines stay tight. It's sold individually. Check the available mounting space and surrounding hardware before installation so a correct part number does not turn into a clearance problem. Browse more outriggers and rigging.
