Description

The Roper Trapper has satin 1065 carbon steel clip and spey blades in a green jigged bone handle with stainless bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 3.5 inches.

Green jigged bone is dyed natural material, and dye settles unevenly into the jigging so the grooves read darker than the raised surface between them. That gives a depth a solid green synthetic cannot match. The clip blade takes general cutting while the spey's flat edge and rounded tip handle skinning and scraping without a point to puncture.

1065 carbon steel takes a keener edge than stainless and comes back faster on a stone, developing a patina with use. At 3.5 inches closed this is the medium trapper, sized for everyday pocket carry rather than a belt. Explore more Trapper Knives.

  • Dye settles into the jigging for depth a synthetic cannot match
  • Clip and spey blades in 1065 carbon steel
  • Medium trapper size at 3.5 inches closed
