The Roper Rattler Muskrat has twin satin 1065 carbon steel clip blades in a black and tan micarta handle with stainless bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 4.5 inches.

The muskrat is the odd one among traditional patterns: two identical clip blades, one at each end, where every other two-blade knife has two different shapes. The logic was practical. A trapper working through a day's catch could use one blade until it dulled and switch to the second rather than stopping to sharpen.
