Ronstan XXL Black 3-Finger Sticky Race Gloves

The Ronstan XXL Black 3-Finger Sticky Race Gloves are built for sailors who need the roomiest fit offered here who want hand protection without giving up fingertip feel on knots, shackles, and control lines. The XXL version provides the most hand room in this group while retaining the same open-finger layout and reinforced grip surfaces. The three-finger configuration leaves key fingertips uncovered for precise handling while shielding the palm and major rope-bearing areas. Sticky Race gloves are built to give the hand more purchase on rope, reducing the effort required to maintain a hold during repetitive trimming.

Amara synthetic leather supplies a tough, low-stretch grip surface, with double aramid stitching reinforcing the sections that work hardest. The palm and fingers receive an added layer of material to protect against pressure and abrasion from loaded line. Mesh zones keep the XXL glove from feeling stiff and let moisture escape more quickly after wet use. The roomier XXL cut is useful when a smaller glove would pull the reinforced palm out of position during hard trimming.

• Three-finger race design preserves fingertip dexterity
• Double-thickness palm and finger protection
• Aramid stitching reinforces high-wear areas
• Mesh panels improve ventilation and drying

The XXL size should still fit securely rather than loosely, because excess movement can reduce grip and increase chafe inside the glove. After saltwater exposure, flush the XXL gloves with fresh water and dry them completely before they go back into a gear bag. Check the palm layers and aramid seams from time to time, particularly when the gloves see regular racing or heavy line handling.
