Ronstan XL Black 3-Finger Sticky Race Gloves

The Ronstan XL Black 3-Finger Sticky Race Gloves are built for larger-handed sailors who want hand protection without giving up fingertip feel on knots, shackles, and control lines. The XL version is intended for larger hands that still need a secure wrist closure and exposed fingertips for fine control. Three open fingertips preserve dexterity for shackles, knots, and fine control lines while the covered areas handle the harder rope contact. Ronstan designed the Sticky Race glove to improve grip so the crew does not have to clench as hard through repeated sheet work.

Amara synthetic leather resists everyday sailing wear with little stretch, and double aramid stitching supports the busiest seams. A reinforced second layer over the palm and fingers protects the hand where rope pressure is concentrated. Breathable mesh helps the XL glove flex with the hand and speeds drying after spray or rain. The extra-large cut adds room without changing the materials or reinforcement used in the smaller sizes.

• Three-finger race design preserves fingertip dexterity
• Double-thickness palm and finger protection
• Aramid stitching reinforces high-wear areas
• Mesh panels improve ventilation and drying

With the XL size, check that the hook-and-loop closure holds the glove in place without limiting wrist movement. Rinse the XL pair after exposure to salt and allow it to dry in the open before storing it with other sailing gear. Look over the reinforced palm and stitched edges often if the gloves are used for high-load sheets or long race days.
