Rod Saver Stainless 4-Foot Quick Release Tie-Down

The Rod Saver Stainless Quick Release Transom Tie-Downs are a pair of 2 inch by 4 foot straps. They use polypropylene webbing with a stainless steel buckle and hooks. Each strap is rated at 1,200 lb.

Stainless hardware stands up to constant exposure to salt water. The quick release buckle makes them fast to attach and remove at the ramp. Transom straps keep the boat from bouncing on the trailer.

They're sold as a pair, one for each transom eye. Check the straps for wear before each trip. Inspect the surrounding brackets and fasteners during installation, since worn mounting hardware can undermine a new replacement part. Browse more trailer tie-downs.
