The Rod Saver Stainless 4-Foot Ratchet Tie-Down Pair holds the stern of your boat down on the trailer so it cannot bounce or shift on the road. The ratchet and both S hooks are stainless steel, so salt water will not rust or seize them. Each pair secures both sides of the transom.

Hook one end to the transom eye and the other to the trailer frame, then work the ratchet to draw the strap snug. The ratchet gives you fine control over tension, so you can pull the boat firmly onto the bunks without overtightening. At the ramp, open the ratchet handle to release the strap in seconds.
