Description
The Rite Edge Jig Bone Peanut has two stainless blades in a jigged bone handle, held by a slip joint and opened with nail nicks.
The peanut is one of the smallest two-blade traditional patterns still made, and its appeal is that it goes unnoticed in a pocket. A larger blade handles everyday cutting while a smaller second blade takes fine work. Jigging is the grooved texture cut into the bone. It gives the fingers something to hold where smooth bone turns slick, and it echoes the look of older factory-made pocketknives.
Two blades in a frame this small means each is ground thin, which keeps the whole knife slim in a pocket despite carrying two separate edges. Explore more Traditional Knives.
