Description
The Ritchie SS-1002W SuperSport was developed for and tested on offshore race boats, built around the PowerDamp Plus dial technology that Ritchie designed specifically for that kind of pounding, high-speed use.
A PowerDamp dial skirt prevents the oscillation that a standard compass dial shows when a boat is slamming through chop, while larger DirectiveForce magnets lock onto a heading faster and extra-large steel pivots and jewels keep the movement smooth even under vibration. The 3 3/4-inch dial is high-visibility blue with extra-large white numerals, built to be read at a glance rather than squinted at.
It fits a standard 4-inch mounting hole and includes built-in 12V green LED lighting in the movable sun shield. Adapter rings are available separately for a 6-inch cutout, and the compass is 100% repairable, backed by Ritchie's exclusive 5-year warranty, in white. Browse more marine compasses.
