Real Avid Smart-Torq 15 in-lb Fixed Limiter

The Real Avid Smart-Torq 15 in-lb Fixed Limiter gives the workbench a dedicated fifteen inch-pound setting. It is useful when a recurring fastener specification calls for 15 in-lb and you do not want to reset an adjustable torque tool each time. The limiter is meant to be used with compatible driver hardware and the correct bit for the fastener.

Fifteen inch-pounds is only appropriate when the firearm, optic, ring, or accessory manufacturer specifies that value. The limiter provides the preset torque point, but it does not replace checking the published installation instructions. Once the specification is confirmed, the fixed setting helps keep repeated tightening work more consistent.

This value sits between Real Avid's lighter 7 in-lb limiter and the higher settings offered elsewhere in the Smart-Torq line. Keeping several fixed limiters can be convenient on a bench that handles different mounting specifications regularly.
