The ProMariner ProSport 1.5A Multi-Use Maintainer charges a single 12V lead-acid battery, usable either permanently mounted or as a portable unit.
Working both ways is what the multi-use name refers to. Concealed mounting holes take a fixed installation, and a die-cut foam pad on the back lets it sit securely on a surface as a portable maintainer. Quick-connect DC clamp and ring-terminal cable assemblies are both supplied, so switching between the two takes seconds rather than rewiring.
At 1.5 amps this is a maintainer only, not a charger. It holds a full battery full through a winter and will not bring a flat one back in any reasonable time. Energy Saver logic monitors the battery and applies charge only when needed, which is what makes it safe to leave connected for months.
The weatherproof marine housing suits fresh water, salt water, indoor or outdoor use, and protection covers reverse polarity, short circuit, excessive temperature and ignition.
