Description

The ProMariner ProMar1 DS 10 is a 10A two-bank four-stage digital charger, pre-wired for installation.

Ten amps across two banks is a maintainer rather than a recovery charger, which suits a boat left on shore power between outings rather than one run flat and plugged in overnight. Matching that to how the boat is used matters. A bank drawn down hard needs more current than this delivers, and the 15A three-bank version exists for that.

Four-stage digital charging analyzes, charges, conditions and then maintains automatically as battery condition changes. Auto Maintain and Energy Saver logic let the charger stay connected through long storage without applying output the batteries do not need.

A dual-mode charge status indicator shows what the charger is doing, and battery and wiring fault detection flags installation problems early. Shock-resistant construction handles the vibration of a boat under way, and waterproof inline DC fuses protect the circuit at the battery end. Explore more on-board battery chargers.

  • 10A across two banks, a maintainer not a recharger
  • For a boat left on shore power between outings
  • A hard-drawn bank needs the 15A version
  • Four-stage charging with fault detection
