Five amps is the smallest charger ProMariner makes, for one battery on a small boat where the demand is maintenance rather than recovery. The ProMar1 DS line sits below ProSportHD, giving four-stage digital charging without the selectable profiles and expanded display, which keeps the cost down where those are not needed.
Auto Maintain and Energy Saver mode cover both short layups and extended storage, monitoring condition and applying maintenance charging only as required rather than running at full output. The four-stage algorithm analyzes, charges, conditions and maintains automatically as battery condition changes.
A dual-mode charge status indicator gives operating feedback, and battery and wiring fault detection identifies common installation problems.
