The ProMariner 130A Battery Isolator handles two alternators charging two separate battery banks, with gold-plated terminals.

Two alternators into two banks is a specific configuration, and it is not the same part as a single-alternator isolator. Twin-engine boats and vessels with a dedicated house alternator need this arrangement. Fitting a single-alternator isolator instead leaves one charging source with nowhere correct to go.

Gold-plated terminals are worth noting on a high-current connection that lives in an engine space. Gold does not corrode, and the resistance at a corroded terminal is where a charging path quietly loses its performance without anything appearing to fail.
