Pro-Shot Classic .38-.45 Pistol Cleaning Kit

The Pro-Shot Classic Box Kit for .38 through .45 caliber handguns covers the most common centerfire pistol and revolver calibers in one case. It's sized for handgun barrels, so the rods aren't long and awkward on the bench. A multi-caliber setup suits shooters with several handguns in that range. The hard box keeps it organized.

Inside you'll find micro-polished stainless rod sections, a swivel handle, patch holders and caliber-matched cleaning accessories, along with Pro-Shot cleaning patches. Pro-Shot rods are premium stainless steel, burnished and micro-polished to a dense, mirror-smooth surface. Rifle and pistol accessories use the industry-standard 8-32 thread, and shotgun accessories use the standard 5/16-27 thread.

A rough or soft rod can pick up grit and drag it down the bore, and this finish resists holding onto it. The swivel handle lets the rod turn as you push, so brushes and jags follow the twist of the rifling instead of fighting it. Revolvers also need the cylinder chambers cleaned, and the short rods make that easy. Clean from the breech end on semi-autos when you can. Browse more gun cleaning and maintenance.
