The Perko 8 in chrome-plated zinc open base cleat is a larger tie-off point for dock and fender lines. Its base measures about 4 x 2-1/8 in, which spreads the load across more of the mounting surface than the 6-1/2 in size. It is rated for line up to 5/8 in in diameter.
