Description

With 2 in IPS connections, this Perko bronze intake strainer is the largest in the group, made for high-flow raw water systems on bigger engines. It is made in the USA. The heavy bronze body is built for permanent below-waterline service.

Inside, a removable basket traps debris before it can damage impellers or clog heat exchangers. The cover is designed for routine service, so cleaning the basket is a quick job. Large intakes pull in more debris, which makes a strainer this size important.

Check your 2 in IPS fittings, flow needs, and service clearance before installing. Clean the basket before flow becomes restricted and inspect the seals on reassembly. Browse more Raw Water Strainers for smaller strainers.
