The Outdoor Edge Razor VX2 has a 3-inch replaceable 420J2 stainless blade in black oxide at 7.3 inches overall, a black G10 handle, assisted opening, and three blades: two plain edge and one partially serrated.

The serrated blade in the set is the one to reach for on rope, webbing and packing straps, where the teeth catch and saw through material a plain edge slides off. Combining replaceable blades with assisted opening is unusual, since most replaceable-blade knives are plain folders.
