Onyx Airspan Angler XS/SM Green Life Jacket

The Onyx AirSpan Angler is a fishing life jacket built for kayak and canoe anglers, shown here in green in size XS/SM. Onyx's AirSpan back panel is what sets this vest apart. When you snug the side webbing straps, the inner mesh panel expands and opens an air gap between your back and the foam. Air moves through that gap, which keeps you noticeably cooler on hot days. It's U.S. Coast Guard and Transport Canada approved.

Low-profile front foam and a sculpted upper back give a full range of motion for casting and paddling. The back foam is thin enough to work with most canoe and kayak seats without pushing you forward. Six adjustment points let you dial in a secure, customized fit. The shoulders have Airprene comfort pads, and the shoulder webbing tucks away to reduce snags on line and lures.

Storage is laid out for fishing, with two large zippered pockets, a speed pouch pocket and a tool holder pocket with a buckle closure. A built-in rod holder and attachment areas let you tether pliers, a lip grip or other tools so they don't go overboard. Everything stays within reach without digging through a crate behind you.
