The Nitecore TIP2 is a rechargeable keychain flashlight producing up to 720 lumens from dual CREE XP-G3 LEDs, rated IP67.
Seven hundred and twenty lumens from something that lives on a keyring is the point. A keychain light is the one that is actually present when it is needed, and most give thirty or forty lumens. This is enough to walk an unlit path or work under a vehicle.
The magnetic tailcap does three jobs: keychain quick release, hands-free mount and charging port cover. Sticking it to any ferromagnetic surface frees both hands, which on a keychain light is more useful than it sounds when the alternative is holding it in your teeth.
Two switches separate power from mode selection, with memory returning to the last brightness used. IP67 covers immersion, so it survives a pocket in the rain or a drop in a puddle along with the keys it is attached to. Explore more handheld flashlights.
